Daniel K Daniel is a Nigerian model, Nollywood actor and voice-over artist who is widely recognized for his role in the film “A Soldier’s Tale.”
Daniel’s State of Origin
Daniel was born in Maiduguri, Borno, located in the northern part of Nigeria on May 22, 1986.
Originally from Nenwe in Enugu state’s Ani-Nri local government area he was born and raised in Enugu, later on in Port Harcourt, and Abuja, where his parents had lived.

His father by name Chris Daniel, was an engineer and while his mother, Kande Daniel, was a broadcast journalist and former Nigerian National Chairman female Journalists Association and later served as a special advisor to the Nigerian Ministry of Power on Media Matters.
He’s the very first child in a four-child family. He’s got two younger male siblings and a last-born female child. Chris Daniel Jnr (Kris’D) is one of his brothers, a singer, and a performing artist.
For his primary education, he attended Command Children’s School and finished his high school education at Federal Government College, Enugu. He studied and earned his degree in biochemistry at Nnamdi Azikwe University Awka, Anambra state.
Due to the influences of his foster grandfather, former chief of Air Staff, (Late) Air Marshal Ibrahim Alfa and his three uncles – Squadron Leader John Chukwu, Air Sh Vice-Marshal Chris Chukwu and Shu’aibu lfa (civil pilot), Daniel aspired to be a pilot but his ambition was shattered after being was diagnosed with Myopia (short-sightedness) and he was advised that his aspirations would be impossible to fulfill.
He operated his uncle’s company Twinkles Catering Service in Zamfara State for four months just after graduating from the University in 2009.
Danile K Daniel began his career as a model as he made a few TV commercials for Zanda Cosmetics. He has participated in several fashion shows, such as the Moroccan Fashion Show in Abuja.
He was called to a film audition by a Supermodel Steiner Eunice Opera just after those plays and no doubt, his talent inspired the fil directors and earned him his debut appearance in the ‘ All About Us ‘ television series.
Daniel gradually progressed as he played a key role for a BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) film called Sarah’s Choice, directed by Mak Kusare, starring alongside Seun Dada, OC Ukeje, and Sylvia Oluchi.
He had yet another interesting role with Joke Silva, Bukky Ajayi, Alex Usifo, and Wole Ojo at the Amstel Malata box office producing film “The Kid.” His outstanding performance had won him a major role in the blockbuster film “Ladies ‘ Men” directed by Afam Okereke with top actors including Queen Nwokoye,Alex Ekubo, Funke Akindele, Mercy Johnson, Ruth Kadiri, and Chigozie Atuanya.
The stunning actor took a short break from movie acting for his National Youth Service (NYSC) in February 2010, where he served with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Abuja.
He appeared in several movies including Under, Tempest, Paint My Life, Devil in Black, Matchmaker, and so on.
Daniel came to prominence for his performance in the film “The Story of a Soldier.” He was also a thrilling actor to watch alongside Chidi Mokeme, Ramsey Noah, and Rita Dominic on the screen for his roles in piece 76 of the time.
Marriage and Family
Daniel married his wife, Tina, at a traditional wedding ceremony at Nnewi in Anambra state on August 26, 2017.
Of note, a white wedding service was followed up in Lagos on November 18, 2017.
On May 22, 2019, they delivered their first child, which occurred on the same birthday of Daniel K. Daniel.
