Early Life And Career
He left home to stay with his uncle Michel Goba in France at the age of 5. As at that time, Michel was a professional footballer.
Some years later Drogba went back to his parents in Ivory Coast but he could not stay long with them, due to the fact that his parents lost their jobs so he went back to France.
Drogba’s parents and his siblings later relocated to France in order to find greener pastures following the tough circumstances that they have been through and at this time young Drogba reunited with his family
At this point in time, uncle Goba had already taught Drogba the basic things he needed to know in order to become a successful footballer.

In the year 2004, Drogba joined Chelsea for a club-record fee of E24 million and that marked the beginning of a greater height for him.
