The federal republic of Nigeria has 36 States which also are being presided by 35 governors.
Nigeria also practices a democratic system of government which makes the leaders accountable to the people that elected them.
The master selected these political leaders to help make the state better in all sectors so in order to check this process it’s important we assess these governors of different states.
We are already done with the first half of the year and we have to evaluate the performance of our governance as it is our right to hold them accountable for their actions and fulfillment of their political duties.

1. Governor Nyesom wike (Rivers State)
Nyesom Wike is an indigene of Obio-Akpor in Rivers State. He was born on 13th of December, 1967. He is an educated man who takes no rubbish. He attended tertiary institutions where he obtained degrees in law, public administration, and political science.
Before he ventured into politics he practiced law as a private entity for a while. Recently he has been known for his intolerance for lawbreakers. He enforced a total lockdown in a state during the pandemic and destroyed two hotels that disobeyed the lockdown orders.
2. Governor Ifeanyi Okowa (Delta State)
During the administration of as the governor of Ifeanyi Okowa Delta state he has shown how commendable and responsible he has been.
The people of Delta state have commended his actions and work so far as they have led to the continuous development of the State.
Ifeanyi Okowa was born on 8 of July 1959 in Owa Alero, Delta state. You had earned a degree in medicine and surgery from the University of Ibadan before he ventured into politics.
He briefly went through filing as a clinical medical officer.
Governor Nasir Ahmad El Rifai (Kaduna state)
Nasir Ahmad El rufai was born in Daudawa, faskari, Katsina on the 16th of February 1960.
He spent his childhood growing up in Kaduna. During his education, he bagged a bachelor’s degree from ahmadu Bello University in quantity surveying.
He also got an LLB from the University of London. Later he proceeded to the John F. Kennedy School of Government (Harvard) where he earned his Master’s certificate in Public Administration.
Before he became the minister of the federal capital territory from 2003-2007 he was initially into structural designing and building. He became the state governor for Kaduna State in 2015.
Governor Aminu Tambuwal (Sokoto State)
Aminu Tambuwal what is born in Tambuwal village, sokoto on 10th January 1966 to waziri Tambuwal.
He attended Town Primary School, Tambuwal in Sokoto State for his elementary education and how bad is first School leaving certificate in 1979.
He later proceeded to Government Teachers’ College, Dogon-Daji wherein 1984 he earned his Teachers Grade II Certificate.

Governor Udom Gabriel Emmanuel (Akwa Ibom State)

This unique leader has been in charge of administration since 29th June 2015.
This particular position he had contested using the party’s platform people’s democratic party (PDP).
He had become a professional banker after he gained education studying at UNILAG, London Business School INSEAD Europe Campus.

Governor Willie Obiano (Anambra State)
Willie Obiano was born on 8th August 1955. He Is a technocrat, legislator, Financier and at the moment he is their fourth governor of Anambra state.
He succeeded a great governor – Mr. Peter obi to continue the good work being done in Anambra state.
He acquired an accountancy degree from the University of Lagos in 1979.
currently, anambra state is undoubtedly doing well in terms of finance and infrastructure.
Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Enugu State)
The current governor of Enugu state is a principled man who knows much about education and politics is also the first covenant coming from his hometown — Nsukka to represent the state.
This administration has transformed most rural areas in the state to Urban.
He has succeeded in bringing massive development to the provincial regions of the State.

Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum is the current governor of Borno state and is known to be an educator and engineer.
It wasn’t the election of June 9th, 2019 that he got elected has the governor under the auspices of all progressive congress.
This governor is known to be an impactful and prolific leader.
He has also done his best because during his tenure the incident of Boko Haram terrorist attacks reduced drastically.
Governor Abdullahi Ganduje (Kano State)
Governor Abdullahi Ganduje is a Ph.D. holder in public administration and organization he obtained from the University of Ibadan.
He also attended ahmadu Bello University where he gained a Masters degree in Public Administration (MPA).
Currently, the governor is making Kano state look its best and it has the potential to match Lagos in terms of development.
