USSD Code to Check NIN Number on Mobile

The National Identification Number (NIN)  is a unique set of 11 digit numbers that are assigned by the o National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) which was first brought about in 2015.

The identity scheme then has the objective of numbering and properly finding a database of all Nigerians and individuals living in Nigeria.

The Federal government has since made it mandatory for all Nigerians to have the national identity number just like in the case of the bank verification number.

So your NIN number is the unique identification number that is made available to you by the national identity management scheme.
