Innocent Idibia completed his Secondary education at Mounted Saint Gabriels Secondary School located in Makurdi, Benue State.

He then proceeded to Enugu State to do a Pre-National Diploma for the course Business Administration and finally, he attended the Institute Of Management& Technology (IMT) in Enugu to study Management.

2Face Music Career

During his time in IMT, 2face was nearly everywhere in Enugu town, performing at almost every show organized in the town and in his school.

He was also known for creating jingles for GB Fan Club located in Enugu State Broadcasting Service(ESBS). After some time, he dropped out of school so as to properly concentrate on his music career.

Leaving school in Enugu, he made his way to Lagos State where he found his two friends, Ahmedu Augustine Obiabo better known as Black Face and Chibuzor Oji popularly known as Faze. The three of them then formed the music group: Plantashun Boiz.

In the year 2000, the Plantashun Boiz released an album titled ‘Body and Soul’ and in the year 2003, they released another album titled: ‘Sold Out’. Eventually, they separated in the year 2004 and each of them became a solo artist.

Still, in 2014, Idibia released his first solo album which he titled ‘Face 2 Face’. He also released a second album in the year 2006 titled Grass to Grace.
The song which brought him into limelight and made him known not just locally but also internationally was African Queen and till date, 2face remains relevant in the music industry.
